Campus and Facilities

Oak Hall School’s 43-acre campus is located on Tower Road (S.W. 75th Street) just south of Newberry Road. Oak Hall offers a seamless PreK through 12th grade program unique to Gainesville and the surrounding area. The school provides a challenging college preparatory curriculum and a rich array of activities, while maintaining the advantages of small classes and personal attention on a safe, self-contained campus.
 
 

Lower School


The Lower School campus features a centralized media center, a stage and multi-purpose auditorium, a computer lab, science lab, art room and a covered court and outdoor playing fields for physical education classes and after-school sports and the state-of-the-art Patti Shively Early Childhood Learning Center.

Lower School Hours
Preschool 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
JK - Kindergarten 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Grades 1-5 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Middle and Upper School


Most academic classes are held in the Middle School building or the Upper School building, which also includes the Media Center, four science labs, a computer lab, music rooms, and the administrative and counseling offices.

The Student Center was designed for multi-purpose use, including daily lunches, presentations, and student and parent social activities.

The Edith D. Cofrin Theater seats 400 and contains a fully equipped stage for both Oak Hall and visiting musical and drama productions. The Cofrin Arts Center contains two music rooms, a practice room and an art gallery. The art building holds two studios, a student gallery, an art library, a fully equipped dark room, print-making facilities and a room for graphic design and animation. Adjacent to the art building is a complete Ceramics facility.

Physical education classes and many interscholastic sports programs take place in the air-conditioned Oxborough Gymnasium, which includes a basketball/volleyball court, a weight room, training room, and four locker and shower facilities. Outdoor facilities include seven tennis courts, a cross-country course and playing fields for football, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, and track and field.

Middle and Upper School Hours
Middle School 7:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Upper School 7:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
