Thank you to all of the parents, teachers, and guests that came out to support our students on May 1st! ¡Primavera Caliente! Was a successful evening of hot Latin rhythms under the Florida sky with delicious food and exciting music! Our attendance exceeded all estimates and ended up topping out somewhere around 250! 

I am especially proud of our students for taking on a completely new style of music and playing it with passion and beauty! They tackled some difficult material by renowned musicians such as Tito Puente, Mario Bauza, Celia Cruz, and Luis Enrique. All this helps them connect the dots between music of their teenage pop culture, American historical music, and musical traditions from other countries. We are so proud of the work they accomplished and are currently in the process of recording some of the selections from that evening (which will be available soon)!

So congratulations to our students for a successful and fun evening!
