Do you enjoy being creative? Do you like to experiment and try new things? If so, then this is the camp for you! We will make paper beads and learn basic beading techniques, learn to Tie-Dye tee shirts, experiment in paper crafts such as stamping, card making, and origami, and enjoy doing some Shrink Art! You will learn the basic skills that will allow you to continue these fun activities at home in addition to having some cool projects to show for your hard work! Program fee is $180 plus a $30 supply fee if registered by 4/15; $195 plus a $30 supply fee if registered after 4/15.

DRAWING AND PAINTING
Boys & Girls, Ages 10 & up

The drawing and painting workshop is for both students of art and for those who simply enjoy the fun of being creative. In camp, students experiment with both classical and modern approaches to making art. Students will learn to draw and paint in a variety of media. An exhibition of student work for the week will be shown at the end of class in an “opening” on Friday at 12 noon. Program cost is $180 plus a $20 supply fee if registered by 4/15; $195 plus a $20 supply fee if registering after 4/15.

INTRODUCTION TO POTTERY
Boys & Girls, Ages 5 - 9
June 3 - June 4 • 12:45p.m. - 4:15p.m.

Young artists who enjoy working with clay will love this camp. The emphasis is on personal expression and the joy of making pottery. Kids will learn many ways to work with clay, from pinch pots, coils and slabs to working on the potter’s wheel. Campers will produce lots of precious work, the kind you keep for a lifetime. So sign up for this camp and start building some shelves at home. Program Fee is $72 plus a $12 supply fee if registered by 4/15; $78 plus a $12 supply fee is registered after 4/15.

POTTERY I/ART I
Boys and Girls, Ages 10 & up
June 21 - June 25 • 12:45p.m. - 4:15p.m.

This camp will appeal to both those with building skills and those with painting skills.Students will explore ways of working with clay, like hand building and working on the potters’ wheel. They will also rotate into the painting studio each day to explore different styles of painting and mediums like tempera, watercolor and acrylics. Program fee is $180 plus a supply fee of $30 if registered by 4/15; $195 plus a supply fee of $30 if registering after 4/15.

POTTERY II/ART II
Boys and Girls, Ages 10 & Up

This is a camp focused on developing skills of the advanced artist in both clay and paint. Students will continue to explore the mediums of paint and the elements of composition and style. In clay, students will concentrate in their choice of the potters’ wheel, hand building, or both. Program fee is $180 plus a supply fee of $30 if registered by 4/15; $195 plus a supply fee of $30 if registering after 4/15.

XTREME ART
Boys & Girls, Ages 10 & up

What does Frisbee, Boxing, Paint ball, Hacky Sack and Zero Gravity have to do with Art? Find out for yourself as you learn about Art “THE XTREME WAY!” Students in this class will utilize fun, physically active, on-traditional methods to learn about the fundamentals of Art as they explore design, color theory, calligraphy and linear perspective. These “Exercises in Creativity” will challenge the student physically so they may express themselves visually. Students should wear athletic shoes and dress for mess. Aprons will be provided. Program fee is $180 if registered by 4/15; $195 if registered after 4/15.
