Extended Day & Enrichment Fall 2026

The extended day program “Eaglets” provides a warm, caring environment beyond school hours where children in Preschool-Kindergarten have the opportunity to experience and engage in a variety of activities. Daily activities include art projects, outdoor play, indoor games, puzzles, and reading activities connected to our monthly theme. Optional enrichment activities are available at an additional cost. Eaglets will operate daily when school is in session, with the exception of the following 1/2 days when no extended day programming is available: 12/18, 04/09, 05/21

Kindergarten students will have a study hall Monday-Thursday each week led by Oak Hall Lower School & ECLC Teachers, Teaching Assistants, or Learning Specialists.

  • Students with a sibling in the Lower School may remain in their classroom until 3:15 p.m. at no additional charge
• 2:45-3:30 p.m. Check-in, relaxation, and snack in grade-level cohort groups

• Should there be a class, divisional, or school-wide illness or weather-related interruption, a credit will be given for days missed and the final payment in May will be prorated accordingly.
• Should there be an individual interruption related to illness that is in excess of 5 school days, per occurrence, a credit will be given for days missed commencing with day 6, and payment days adjusted accordingly. Medical documentation may be required. Payment in May will be prorated accordingly.

Hourly Plan: $43.00 Annual registration fee*. $16 per hour billed, in quarter hour increments daily for each use, to credit card on file every Monday.

• Late pickups after 6 p.m. will be billed $25 plus $1 per minute per child
• * All plans require an annual, one-time application fee of $25.00. This fee is waived for all completed applications received by August 11th, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Registration for all summer, extended day, enrichment including the Oak Hall Community Sports League, and auxiliary programs must be done online and in advance of attendance. Families with students who have participated in Summer Camp or the Community Sports League prior to the 2021-2022 school year may access and utilize the same registration account. All other families must create a new household account in order to complete registration.

Billing for all summer, extended day, enrichment including the Oak Hall Community Sports League, and auxiliary programs will be done through the online registration system and billed to the credit card you provide. Programming will no longer be billed through the FACTS Student Billing System. A variety of payment options will be available for your convenience. Need-based Financial Assistance is available for Oak Hall Summer Programs by application due annually May 1. Families needing additional arrangements for any programming should reach out to Mrs.Tripp.

Parents must provide an authorized list of people who may pick up their child from all summer, extended day, enrichment including the Oak Hall Community Sports League, or auxiliary programming. For the safety and protection of your child, a form of picture identification will be required any time a student is picked up. If a person picking up a student is not on the authorized list, the parent will be contacted prior to the release of the child. This information will be collected at registration through the online registration program and may be updated by the parent at any time online or by contacting the Summer & Auxiliary Programming office either in writing or in person.

Pro-rated refunds for Eaglets, Soaring Eagles, and The Nest are available for two weeks following registration date. After two weeks have passed, no refunds or transfer of payment will be permitted without medical documentation necessitating withdrawal. Medical documentation must be received within 48 hours of physician or medical practitioner’s signature. In the event of withdrawal from school, prorated refunds are available on monthly, semester, and annual plans less a $50 withdrawal fee. No refunds or credits are given for days absent except for provisions made with monthly payment option as notated under pricing. Following the two week grace period transfer of program plans is not permitted unless transferring to a higher designation. (Ex. Hourly to monthly, monthly to semester, semester to yearly.) No credits for previously used or billed days/months will be given at time of transfer.

Join Lower School Spanish teacher Sra. Maria for a fun and engaging journey into the Spanish-speaking world! Through games, songs, dances, crafts, traditional foods, and cultural celebrations, students will build basic Spanish vocabulary and conversational skills while exploring the rich traditions of Hispanic cultures. Your children will learn how to work with different media types such as watercolor, pencil, pastel, crayon, and acrylics. Also, they will make different types of collages. Your children will learn how to make their artwork interesting with the help of basic knowledge about color and composition using the works of well-known artists as inspiration and examples. For students ready to build on what they’ve already learned, Haile Equestrian’s Oak Hall partnership offers a next-level lesson series designed to grow their riding skills. Riders continue their progress alongside the same compassionate, encouraging instructors who’ve guided them from the start. This series keeps the same small-group format but is geared toward riders who’ve completed regular horseback riding lessons or two previous semesters of the Oak Hall enrichment program. These students take on more responsibility in preparing their own horses, which means faster tacking-up and more time in the saddle each session, the next step toward greater independence and stronger riding skills. Lesson takes place at our professional equestrian facility, where riders are carefully paired with our experienced, gentle school horses.

Transportation provided. Riders must complete a New Rider Packet for Haile Equestrian and appropriate riding boots are required (see Haile Equestrian Boot Guide for more information). Helmets are required when riding, students are welcome to bring their own or use helmets provided by Haile Equestrian.

Catherine Martin was born and raised in Graz, Austria, where she started taking piano lessons at a very young age and then attended the “University of Music and Performing Graz’, where she got my Bachelor of arts in musicology and masters degree in Piano Education. Upon completion of her  studies she was employed by the Conservatory in Graz, where she taught piano 1994-1999, In 1999 she moved from Austria to the USA and started a family here. She stayed at home with her two children while they were little and started teaching again in 2006, when she started my own small business, Piano Kids. She teaches all ages and all levels. Her students have the opportunity to participate in various competitions and have had multiple state winners and recipients of honorable mentions at the state level. When I not teaching, she keeps herself busy training for marathons and triathlons. She is looking forward to sharing my passion and love for music with the students at Oak Hall.

Does your child dream about riding horses? Haile Equestrian’s partnership with Oak Hall School brings that dream to the farm. This small-group series is a great introduction to horses for beginners with no riding experience required, guided by compassionate, encouraging instructors who meet every child where they are. Beyond the basics of riding, we teach horsemanship and care, helping kids build confidence, responsibility, and empathy along the way. Horseback riding has a way of bringing even the shyest child out of their shell. Our professional equestrian facility and experienced school horses provide the ideal setting for young riders to learn in a safe, supportive environment.

Every student benefits from building a strong foundation in technology. Tech Time is a weekly after-school camp designed for students in grades 3–6 to develop confidence and independence using computers.

The camp meets every Monday from 3:35–4:40 p.m. and focuses on the essential computer skills students use every day. Participants will learn how to log in efficiently, organize digital files, compose and send emails, navigate common applications, and practice responsible digital citizenship.

As students become more confident with these foundational skills, they will have opportunities to explore additional technology topics through hands-on projects, such as introductory coding, digital creativity, and other engaging computer-based activities.

Whether your child is just beginning to use a computer independently or is ready to strengthen existing skills, Tech Time provides a supportive environment where students can build practical technology skills while having fun learning.

This course is being taught by Jess Jung, the Technology Integration Specialist at Oak Hall. In her role, she partners with teachers and students to integrate technology into meaningful learning experiences across all grade levels. She provides instruction and support in digital literacy, computer skills, and responsible technology use, helping teachers and students build confidence with the tools they use every day. With her experience in educational technology and more than 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, she is excited to lead Tech Time and help students develop a strong foundation in essential computer skills through engaging, hands-on activities.

For students ready to build on what they’ve already learned, Haile Equestrian’s Oak Hall partnership offers a next-level lesson series designed to grow their riding skills. Riders continue their progress alongside the same compassionate, encouraging instructors who’ve guided them from the start. This series keeps the same small-group format but is geared toward riders who’ve completed regular horseback riding lessons or two previous semesters of the Oak Hall enrichment program. These students take on more responsibility in preparing their own horses, which means faster tacking-up and more time in the saddle each session, the next step toward greater independence and stronger riding skills. Lesson takes place at our professional equestrian facility, where riders are carefully paired with our experienced, gentle school horses.

Transportation provided. Riders must complete a New Rider Packet for Haile Equestrian and appropriate riding boots are required (see Haile Equestrian Boot Guide for more information). Helmets are required when riding, students are welcome to bring their own or use helmets provided by Haile Equestrian.

Learn the art of weaving friendship bracelets! We will be starting with basic techniques, and with skill and time permitting we can level up to more difficult weaves and add charms. Bracelet weaving is a wonderful practice in patience and consistency. Weaving provides an opportunity to express creativity and purposeful effort in a low-stimulus environment. Bracelet weaving can take some time to practice and complete, so these are projects that students can take home with them if they wish, or they can start fresh each week!

Catherine Martin was born and raised in Graz, Austria, where she started taking piano lessons at a very young age and then attended the “University of Music and Performing Graz’, where she got my Bachelor of arts in musicology and masters degree in Piano Education. Upon completion of her  studies she was employed by the Conservatory in Graz, where she taught piano 1994-1999, In 1999 she moved from Austria to the USA and started a family here. She stayed at home with her two children while they were little and started teaching again in 2006, when she started my own small business, Piano Kids. She teaches all ages and all levels. Her students have the opportunity to participate in various competitions and have had multiple state winners and recipients of honorable mentions at the state level. When I not teaching, she keeps herself busy training for marathons and triathlons. She is looking forward to sharing my passion and love for music with the students at Oak Hall.

Oak Hall Fencing Club offers a great introduction to the exciting Olympic Sport of Fencing.
Fencing develops the mind as well as the body for athletic competition. Improving concentration and focus is an integral part of fencing. Students will participate in warm-up, stretching, footwork, blade work, tactical movements, and strategic thinking. The Florida Fencing Academy instructional program is based upon the principles of Good Attitude, Good Form, Lightness of scoring touches, Fencing Smart, Being Creative, and Adapting to be successful. Oak Hall Fencing Club students have participated in United States Fencing Association Regional and National Championships.

“The Nest” is Oak Hall’s extended day program for Grades 6-8. The Nest will provide a safe and enriching environment for each student, every day. Students will have the choice between monitored study groups, daily activities, and optional enrichment activities (available at additional cost) when not participating in athletic, theater, or music practices. Daily activities will include daily art projects, outdoor play, indoor games, puzzles, and reading activities connecting to our monthly theme. Students may also wish to relax, unwind, and enjoy some quiet time in our newly renovated Student Enrichment Center. Members of The Nest can look forward to Fun Fridays once per month which will include special field trips and evening activities at Oak Hall (additional fees will apply).

Registration for all summer, extended day, enrichment including the Oak Hall Community Sports League, and auxiliary programs must be done online and in advance of attendance. Families with students who have participated in Summer Camp or the Community Sports League prior to the 2021-2022 school year may access and utilize the same registration account. All other families must create a new household account in order to complete registration.

Billing for all summer, extended day, enrichment including the Oak Hall Community Sports League, and auxiliary programs will be done through the online registration system and billed to the credit card you provide. Programming will no longer be billed through the FACTS Student Billing System. A variety of payment options will be available for your convenience. Need-based Financial Assistance is available for Oak Hall Summer Programs by application due annually May 1. Families needing additional arrangements for any programming should reach out to Mrs. Tripp

Parents must provide an authorized list of people who may pick up their child from all summer, extended day, enrichment including the Oak Hall Community Sports League, or auxiliary programming. For the safety and protection of your child, a form of picture identification will be required any time a student is picked up. If a person picking up a student is not on the authorized list, the parent will be contacted prior to the release of the child. This information will be collected at registration through the online registration program and may be updated by the parent at any time online or by contacting the Summer & Auxiliary Programming office either in writing or in person.

Pro-rated refunds for Eaglets, Soaring Eagles, and The Nest are available for two weeks following registration date. After two weeks have passed, no refunds or transfer of payment will be permitted without medical documentation necessitating withdrawal. Medical documentation must be received within 48 hours of physician or medical practitioner’s signature. In the event of withdrawal from school, prorated refunds are available on monthly, semester, and annual plans less a $50 withdrawal fee. No refunds or credits are given for days absent except for provisions made with monthly payment option as notated under pricing. Following the two week grace period transfer of program plans is not permitted unless transferring to a higher designation. (Ex. Hourly to monthly, monthly to semester, semester to yearly.) No credits for previously used or billed days/months will be given at time of transfer.

Every student benefits from building a strong foundation in technology. Tech Time is a weekly after-school camp designed for students in grades 3–6 to develop confidence and independence using computers.

The camp meets every Monday from 3:35–4:40 p.m. and focuses on the essential computer skills students use every day. Participants will learn how to log in efficiently, organize digital files, compose and send emails, navigate common applications, and practice responsible digital citizenship.

As students become more confident with these foundational skills, they will have opportunities to explore additional technology topics through hands-on projects, such as introductory coding, digital creativity, and other engaging computer-based activities.

Whether your child is just beginning to use a computer independently or is ready to strengthen existing skills, Tech Time provides a supportive environment where students can build practical technology skills while having fun learning.

This course is being taught by Jess Jung, the Technology Integration Specialist at Oak Hall. In her role, she partners with teachers and students to integrate technology into meaningful learning experiences across all grade levels. She provides instruction and support in digital literacy, computer skills, and responsible technology use, helping teachers and students build confidence with the tools they use every day. With her experience in educational technology and more than 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, she is excited to lead Tech Time and help students develop a strong foundation in essential computer skills through engaging, hands-on activities.

Quest Club is an opportunity to learn and play Magic: The Gathering and other tabletop games. Magic: The Gathering is a strategic trading card game in which you build a deck, cast powerful spells, summon legendary creatures, and outsmart your opponents. Club members will strengthen their strategic thinking, sportsmanship, creative problem-solving, reading comprehension, and math (yes, math!), all without any screen time. Members will receive their own deck box, Magic: The Gathering deck, a playmat, card sleeves, club tee shirt, and other club supplies to use throughout the season and continue playing beyond it.

Come explore poetry as a living art form! Through creative writing, performance, and collaboration, students will transform their ideas into powerful spoken word pieces while building confidence, developing their unique voices, and becoming part of a supportive community of young writers.

Each week, students will experiment with storytelling and spoken word techniques, strengthen their public speaking skills, and learn how to captivate an audience through engaging, hands-on activities.

Design the Future! In the 3D Printing & Modeling Club, 3rd – 8th grade students become real-world problem solvers! Using beginner-friendly design software and 3D printers, club members will learn how to turn their ideas into real objects, layer by layer. From designing custom tools to creating solutions for everyday challenges, students will explore how 3D printing can help people. This club encourages creativity, innovation, and critical thinking as students imagine, design, and bring their creations to life. Whether it’s fixing a problem, improving a design, or inventing something totally new, students will discover how 3D printing isn’t just cool, it’s powerful.

Welcome to the world of gears, code, and high-stakes competition! The VEX IQ Robotics Club is a hands-on, fast-paced, and wildly creative space where 5th and 6th grade innovators will design, build, and program robots to take on the annual VEX Robotics Competition game. As we prepare to compete in the middle school circuit, members will collaborate, troubleshoot, and refine their creations, sharpening skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork along the way. In addition to traveling to local competitions, our team will have the exciting opportunity to host VEX IQ tournaments right here at Oak Hall, welcoming teams from across the region to compete in our own gym.
